Mapped Moments started with a simple idea: that a place — really any place — can hold an enormous amount of meaning. The street where you grew up. The city where you met. The spot you got engaged. The neighbourhood you had to leave behind.

 I built the design editor from scratch because I wanted something that actually worked: live, visual, no guessing what the final print would look like. What you see on screen is exactly what gets printed.

I started Mapped Moments because I couldn't find a map print service that felt personal enough. Everything was generic. I wanted to make something where the place you chose actually mattered — where a map of your hometown looked different from every other map poster, because it was yours.

Every poster is made to order

There's no warehouse of pre-printed stock here. When you design something, it's printed specifically for you — on 200gsm premium matte fine art paper — and shipped straight to your door. 

Why map posters?

Maps are one of the most personal things you can put on a wall. They're not just decoration — they're a record of where you've been and who you've become. A map of your hometown means something completely different to you than it does to anyone else in the world. That specificity is what makes them worth hanging.
